The Mission
Approached by the Dutch Diabetes Fonds, Sherlocked was tasked with the challenge of creating a mobile escape room to teach the public about misconceptions regarding Type 1 and 2 diabetes though a series of interconnected puzzles. Operating as lead designer in the team, puzzles were constructed alongside behavioral scientists constantly referencing the human interaction component of various design proposals.
The time between first sketch and final delivery was five weeks, with design and construction largely overlapping. Troubleshooting of puzzles and fine tuning the experience throughout this process was vital in creating the desired outcome.
